Kick-off Meeting

The Kick-off Meting for the NEXT Project: Young NEETs shaping EXpectations for The future of Europe took place on 1 February 2024.

This meeting took place online and was organised in two parts.

In the first part, there was a live-streaming presentation of the project and the partners gave a short presentation about their organisations. More than 300 people took part in this presentation.

In the second part, the staff members met to discuss the project's tasks.

The project aims at creating a well-structured and shared path of dialogue

and discussion on the European Union common values among young people and

between them and the local authorities involved, so that young participants may become the ambassadors of democracy and promoters of the knowledge of the European Union for their peers.

The goal is to understand together which tools and opportunities at local and

at European level can stimulate their growth as humans, students and employed people.

The project promotes exchanges among citizens of different countries through the realisation of 9 transnational meetings and contributes to spreading best practices through the realisation of activities at local level.

The project, co-funded by the European Programme CERV - Networks of towns,

has a duration of 2 years and involves 8 European partners: the Municipality of Faenza (Project Leader), Schwäbisch-Gmünd (De), Byala (BG), Boleslawiec (PL), Daugavpils (LV), Lousada (PT), Mesa Geitonia (CY), Malta Crafts Foundation (MT).
