The Municipality of Schwäbisch Gmünd was in charge of designing and evaluating a Gender Equality Survey that was carried out among young people in each partner country in order to explore attitudes related to gender equality. In addition to basic questions about the concept of sex and gender or whether or not gender equality exists, for example, questions also related to crucial topics such as gender-based violence, discrimination, stereotypes or the perception of LGBTQIA+.
Later in the project, the partners agreed to start a second survey, restricted to the young managers and experts from each country only, in order to be able to document a development and possible shift of attitude at the end of the two-year project.
The questionnaires included open and closed questions as well as single-choice and multiple-choice questions, supplemented by information boxes. A QR code allowed access so that the questionnaire could be completed on any mobile device.
In Phase 1 which started in spring 2024 and lasted until the end of December 2024 each partner country had to ensure that 100 questionnaires were answered by young people. The results were presented at the 6th Transnational Meeting in Cyprus.
Phase 2 started in October 2025 and was open for four weeks. At the final online meeting in December 2025, the partner Schwäbisch Gmünd provided an analysis of the second survey.
